Cannes Film Festival 2006: Competition movie - Volver

Pedro Almodovar's Volver from Spain gets Seven Stars out of Ten.

Penelope Cruz is Almodovar's favourite or so it seems. But, she is exceptionally good.

Almodovar won the Best Screenplay Award, and his ensemble of five female artists,

including Cruz, collectively clinched the Best ActressTrophy.
