Paris Hilton as Mother Teresa?

No two people can be as far removed as Mother Teresa and Paris Hilton.

The Mother, a Catholic nun, spent her life among Calcutta’s (now renamed Kolkata) poor and sick and even dying, comforting them in their most distressing moments.

Paris Hilton has lived far from such agony. Her life has been one of sexual romps, bedroom farces and fun films.

Yet, Indian movie director Rajeevnath from Kerala is bent on cajoling and coxing Paris into playing the Christian Saint in a film he plans to make shortly. "Her features resemble Mother Teresa’s," Rajeevnath has been telling the world. The director said Hilton was on his shortlist after a computer-generated image showed a close facial match between the hotel heiress and the Albanian-born nun.

Mother Teresa died in 1997, and was beatified by Pope John Paul in 2003, an important step towards sainthood in the Catholic Church.

Paris’ prior movie experience includes appearing in a homemade sex video made by a former boyfriend that appeared on the Internet, and parts in several Hollywood B-films. The blond socialite, who is often the focus of American celebrity gossip columns, also starred in the US reality television show "The Simple Life".
