Cannes is part of the picturesque French Riviera, the haunt of the bold, the beautiful and the bountiful.

A fascinating town, Cannes is famous for its Le Suquet, the old quarters with its winding uphill path -- lined with pretty little restaurants which serve the most delicious food -- leading to a fort and the 12th century Chapel of Saint Anne.

Cannes is also renowned for its its film festival, held mid-May every year. The world's top movie festival, it attracts great films, innumerable stars, hundreds of journalists and thousands of people who come to see this great circus of lights, grease paint and prints that move.
